We have extensive experience representing Brazilian companies, as both creditors and debtors, in corporate restructuring matters, including cross-border and out-of-court restructurings, as well as prenegotiated plans of reorganization. In addition, the firm routinely handles the securities and banking aspects of restructuring transactions. Grand Park Law Group also provides advice on insolvency issues in corporate transactions and in connection with litigation-related matters.
The firm has advised international clients participating in the privatization of various sectors of the Brazilian economy, including several international energy companies in connection with power generation and transmission projects and proposed privatizations. We also have represented international telecommunications clients on various projects in Brazil, including proposed privatizations.
